A Dear Friends’ Words on The Meaning of Love…
You more than once asked me what the meaning of love is. A dear friend of mine came up with these following words…
True Loving is the unselfish act of giving of one’s self to another unconditionally, and accepting it deservingly in return.
Love is the opening of the heart; the ‘welcoming in’ of your beloved.
Loving is not secured;
Authentic loving is risky…
Security lies behind the walls of a closed heart;
You either invite the union by opening up in love, or you secure the isolation by closing down…
And forever losing what could have been.
